Challenge
Isaac, a leading HVAC provider, needed to increase furnace sales ahead of the winter season but faced the challenge of minimal media spend. The goal was to drive substantial revenue through a cost-effective campaign that could attract leads and result in conversions, all while competing in a crowded HVAC market. With the budget constraints in mind, the task was to create an impactful campaign that maximized existing resources.
Strategy
To overcome these challenges, we developed a creative contest as part of Isaac’s marketing strategy. This “Oldest Furnace Contest” was offered as an added value of working with us and served as a way to engage potential customers while promoting the benefits of upgrading their furnace before winter. To make the most of Isaac’s existing marketing spend, we strategically leveraged their current TV ad relationships to create PR buzz and amplify the campaign’s reach without requiring additional media expenditure. The contest was designed to capture leads, drive interest, and encourage customers to book consultations for furnace sales. By simplifying the lead submission process, we ensured a seamless experience for participants.
Solution
The solution came in the form of the furnace lead generation contest. Through a user-friendly lead form and strong calls-to-action, we successfully engaged 253 qualified leads. Out of these leads, 94 consultations were booked, resulting in furnace sales totaling $216,544 over a 4-week period. The campaign’s success was largely due to our ability to leverage Isaac’s existing TV ad spend for added PR exposure, making this a cost-effective initiative with no significant media costs. By creatively utilizing existing resources, we helped Isaac achieve impressive results, strengthening their position in the HVAC market ahead of the winter season.
The contest idea was given to Isaac as an added value of working with us, had very little/no media spend behind it (though it did leverage existing TV budgets for PR value) and generated $216k in sales.
